  • Scrivener is pretty cool software if you’re starting a project from scratch. I tried bringing in a novel that was fined (well, as “finished” as a first draft could be) and it was way too hard.

Now that I say that out loud, maybe this webinar would be a good idea.

Yeah, I love Scrinever. It pulls all the things needed for a complete writing project.

  • Hi,
I have signed up for the webinar and am looking forward to it. But since I live in Europe, I’d have to take part at 2 a.m. And since that’s not going to happen, can I assume we will be sent a link for catching up on it afterwards? Or where will I find it?

    Thanks!

I registered for the webinar, but was never sent a link to it. Very disappointing, as I had made my plans around it.

Thanks (I guess) for the free “ebook.” Let me ask: Are the standards for what counts as an “ebook” now radically different from what counts as a “book”? I realize it was free, so I don’t have any right to complain, but I was just surprised to find that it was 31 pages of mostly clip art. Again, not complaining, but genuinely curious: I’d just like to know, is this standard for a book that is sold only in ebook format, with no physical edition? (I would have called it an “ebooklet.”) In today’s market, would people really have paid $19 for it (the supposed cover price)? If so, this would be very helpful for me to know! I work with many self-published authors, and if this is now the standard, they could be publishing a whole lot more ebooks in a whole lot less time.
